Different people have different fitness requirements depending on thier job, hobbies and the sports and leisure activities they enjoy. There are many definitions of fitness. In general, fitness is your ability to meet the demands of your lifestyle or environment.
Different sports require different fitness components. A sports coach can build a profile of a performer's sport-specific training needs in order to design a training programme to target and enhance fitness components that are important for their sport.
